Scott began his career as a Quality Assurance Analyst with the world’s largest independent testing firm, Tescom. As a consultant, he worked on numerous projects at companies such as BellSouth and Federal Express where he focused on functional, automated, and performance testing. Scott’s consulting work provided him with a broad experience base; working with different testing platforms and testing methodologies, where he gained specific domain expertise pertaining to software development lifecycles, performance and scale testing, and project management.
As a Quality Assurance Analyst at Northern Trust Retirement Consulting, a subsidiary of The Northern Trust Company, Scott was instrumental in establishing their QA department. After helping to institute QA testing policies, procedures and methodologies, Scott’s main responsibilities were estimating and testing new enhancements, regression testing, and performance testing Northern’s financial website. In this capacity, Scott gained substantial knowledge pertaining to development and maintenance of complex, web-based applications for a Fortune 500 website.
Scott joined the WebRoomz team in September of 2002; he has led teams responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining testing policies and procedures, as well as managing the manual, automated, and performance testing of the WebRoomz application. He currently oversees the product for WebRoomz’ new suite of accommodation management solutions and has developed an extensive background in understanding the business requirements of housing management companies and how to translate those processes to a web-based solution.
